In this work that I have submitted I have tried to show a selection of different skills of my own and the different media I have used. I have included life drawing of which I think show my use of media, scale and composition, I think it shows a range of great techniques making life drawing exciting. I have also included work from my final major project sketchbook 'The Enchanted Forest' influenced by moss and different types of flowers. I chose this theme, as there are so many beautiful flowers with different textures, colours and vitality which you can link to fashion and produce something very unique. They include many textile samples, design ideas of my own, fashion illustrations and different ways I have developed my ideas to produce garments. Also included is a design, which I produced on Adobe Photoshop, they are my own sketches and I have developed them by adding colour, style and prints that I have designed and produced myself. I have also included two mono prints and prints from screen-printing, which relate to my final major project of flowers and moss.. There are also some pictures of the two garments I have designed and developed for a collection, which relates to my final major project.

I am very interested in this course as I have always been fascinated by textiles and fashion. I love working with different types of fabrics and creating my own textile samples and prints. I like finding new techniques to use in my work. I love experimenting with colour and being creative with textiles by adding lots of detail and tactile elements. I think I am well suited for this course as I am very passionate about textiles and the work I am producing at the moment.
